Details:

Up for sale here is a Mechman Series 170A alternator to replace the GM 10DN, 10SI, and 12SI series. I did not get a chance to install or test this unit, so its being sold as is. This alternator has no connector plug on the back side since its self-exciting - a truly racing-style.

The pulley is a V-belt style, and 2.75 in diameter at the outside edge. The only connection to be made is the battery charging cable copper post on back side of alternator. Also, check the dimensional drawing from Mechman to make sure this unit will fit your application - don't same mistake I did. There are a few dings and scratches in the case pulley from previous use, but nothing major.

It has a chrome plated case and pulley, I carefully polished the outside with Mothers Chrome polish, so its nice shiny now. I am including a mounting bolt and battery post nut split washer.
